Overview

A pin header is one of electrical connector, male pin header is often associated with flat cable connectors. A male pin header is composed of single, two or triple rows of metal pins molded into a plastic base. Common header pitches are 1.27mm (0.050 in), 2.0mm (0.079 in) and 2.54mm (0.100 in) pitch. Many pin lengths of pin header are available (2 pins to 80 pins).
