Banana plugs - secure & versatile electrical connectors
Banana plugs are widely used for patch cords, electronic test equipment, speaker wires, and probe leads. Common types include 4-leaf and 9-leaf spring tips, which ensure a snug fit, strong connectivity, and prevent disconnection.
The standard pin diameter is 4 mm (commonly called a 4 mm plug), though 2 mm versions are also available. Stackable banana plugs feature a rear socket to connect another 4 mm or 2 mm plug, offering flexible wiring options.
