Overview

DC power jack is a common connector used to receive direct current (DC) power, usually mounted in the device, either on a PCB or in the chassis. DC power jack is widely used in desktop, notebook, digital cameras, wireless routers, headphones, audio equipment or other electronic equipment that require stable power.
DC power jack has various diameters of center pin, which fits into the inner sleeve of the DC power plug. The most typical diameter of the center pin for DC power jack is 2.1 mm and 2.5 mm.
High current DC power jack is available, which can withstand up to 8A.
